Caroline Sanchez is a freelance audio technician and technology consultant based in Brooklyn, New York. Specializing in live music for broadcast, she regularly fills a number of positions ranging from A2, ProTools playback/record op, monitor tech, and network system engineer on productions such as Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America, The GRAMMY Awards, The Met: Live in HD, and the MTV Video Music Awards, among others. Caroline has been invited to speak at events sponsored by SoundGirls.org and Women's Audio Mission and has most recently been interviewed on TA2’s Sisters of Sound podcast.
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Music in Sound Engineering Arts from William Paterson University of New Jersey, where she completed internships at venues including Le Poisson Rouge, MSR Studios, and the Bonnarroo Music and Arts Festival. As a classical musician (flute/piccolo) with over a decade of training, Caroline has appeared with the WPU Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, New Jersey Intercollegiate Wind Ensemble, Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra, and The Harlow Trio. She graduated with honors in Performing and Literary Arts and a minor in English: Creative Writing. Her poetry has appeared in Chronogram, right hand pointing, Red Eft Review, and Brokelyn.
