Caroline Sanchez is a freelance musician, audio technician, and technology consultant living in Brooklyn, NY. With a specialization in live music for broadcast, she regularly fills a number of positions ranging from A2, recording/playback op, monitor mix, and RF tech on productions such as Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America, The Met: Live in HD, and Late Night with Seth Meyers, among others. Caroline has been invited to speak at events sponsored by SoundGirls.org and Women's Audio Mission and is an advocate for education and inclusivity in all sectors of the music industry. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Music in Sound Engineering Arts from William Paterson University of New Jersey, where she completed internships at venues including Le Poisson Rouge, MSR Studios, and the Bonnarroo Music and Arts Festival. As a classical musician (flute/piccolo) with over a decade of training, Caroline has appeared with the WPU Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, New Jersey Intercollegiate Wind Ensemble, Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra, and The Harlow Trio. She graduated with honors in Performing and Literary Arts and a minor in English: Creative Writing. Her poetry has appeared in Chronogram, right hand pointing, Red Eft Review, and Brokelyn.
